An Evening for Marjeyoun in support for Likaa al Farah at Kindred Studios

An Evening for Marjeyoun in support for Likaa al Farah at Kindred Studios
Dear Friends.
I would love for you to join us for a very special evening, with food, art and music dedicated to my hometown, Jdeidet Marjeyoun in the south of Lebanon.
In the south of Lebanon, surrounded by conflict, destruction and uncertainty, lies Jdeidet Marjeyoun, a town with a history stretching back a thousand years.
Marjeyoun has witnessed countless chapters of history, endured wars, invasions and destruction, yet it has always found a way to stand again. Its history is not simply written in its stones and streets, but in the generations of families who have called it home.
Today, once again, the town and its surrounding villages are living through extraordinarily difficult times. While many have been forced to leave, there are people who have made the courageous decision to remain in their homes, holding on to their land, their memories and their roots. For them, leaving is not simply a matter of finding somewhere safer to live. It also means the fear of losing the homes and lives they have built over generations.
It is for these people that a group of Marjeyoun's own sons and daughters came together to establish a foundation called Likaa Al Farah, dedicated to supporting those who have stayed behind. Their mission is to provide practical help and essential support to families facing the daily challenges of living in an area surrounded by war and destruction.
This evening is our way of standing alongside them.
Through food, friendship and a shared connection to our hometown, we hope to raise funds and awareness for the foundation and the people it supports.
An entirely vegetarian Lebanese supper, celebrating the flavours, traditions and generosity of our southern kitchens.
